See the “Photos Tab” in this group for some other examples of frequency ratios for the Spherical Lissajous family of curves.

This is another variation of the tetra structor where each loop consists of two spirals that have a common center but expand and contract around each other.
-
Don, here’s a tetra structor rendered with different parameters which gives it a different weave, one which overlaps the vertices of the tetrahedron.

This is a video of the formation of the tetra helix from three torus.

Here’s another image with second order helix being tapered where they intersect at the vertex.
-
What I mean by recursive, is that the base structure is a helix, (the wider red or blue windings) and that a second helix is wrapped around the first.
In a separate post, I have a third order helix where another helix is wrapped around the second one. I could do this recursively again and again, time permitting.
The tilting could be an artifact of my program, since I’m using XYZ coordinates. I’ll have to look into the spherical coordinate system that Joe referred.

No, I don’t. But I’m very familiar with the geometric partitioning.

I have been able to figure how to imbed an image. But it’s limited, I can’t attach a photo that I already uploaded to the site. But I can re-upload from my PC. However, I haven’t found a way to imbed a video yet. Still learning.
